Erice

Our other favourite thing to do in Trapani area is driving up to Erice, take a walk on the cobblestone streets, go up to the castle and admire the view. The salt pans look spectacular from bird eye view, and on a clear day, you can even see the kite lagoon. If you are not comfortable driving up on these curvy roads, you can also take the cable car from Trapani. You can find the schedule here

Erice Mountain is 750m high so be ready also with warmer clothes.
The mountain is many times covered by clouds, in that case, it is even colder!
